We pride ourselves in putting our patients first and we are committed to providing top medical care for all of our patients.Your day as a Dermatology Medical AssistantAs a Full Time Dermatology Medical Assistant at Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care. From rooming patients and updating their information in the EMR system to assisting with biopsies and surgical procedures, you will be involved in various aspects of patient treatment. Your responsibilities will also include transcribing for providers during exams, administering local anesthesia, and educating patients on their treatment plans.Additionally, you will be tasked with managing prescriptions, pathology, and labs, as well as assisting with cosmetic procedures. By stocking rooms with supplies, sanitizing work areas, and diligently following through with tasks, you will contribute to our high-performance and patient-focused culture.Are you a good fit for this Dermatology Medical Assistant job?To excel in the role of Full Time Dermatology Medical Assistant at Dermatology Physicians of Connecticut, candidates should possess a blend of essential skills and qualifications. Experience with electronic medical records, particularly proficiency with EMA, is advantageous.The ideal candidate will be adept at working both independently and collaboratively within a professional team setting. Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment are crucial.
