The Spine Institute in Murray, Utah is seeking a professional and patient-focused individual to join our team in a front desk role at a busy medical practice. This is full-time Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and able to communicate clearly in a fast-paced healthcare environment. 

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages appropriately
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments
• Check patients in and out while verifying and updating demographic and insurance information
• Collect copayments and process payments according to office procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and support routine front office documentation
• Coordinate communication between patients, clinical staff, and external offices as needed
• Assist with general administrative duties to support smooth daily operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office is preferred. 
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with accuracy and professionalism
• Comfort working with scheduling systems, electronic records, and standard office software
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare setting
• Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing priorities

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance verification processes
• Experience with electronic health records or practice management systems
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a busy patient care environment
