About Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service - El Paso County AgriLife Extension is a unique education agency with a statewide network of professional educators, trained volunteers, and county offices. It reaches into the El Paso County to address local priority needs. Extension values and promotes principles of citizen and community involvement, scientifically based education, lifelong learning and volunteerism. It works cooperatively with the 12 universities and 8 state agencies of the Texas A&M University System and other state and local agencies to bring the necessary resources to El Pasoans that will address local issues and solve local problems. Job Title Program Coordinator II P11 Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service Department County Program Urban - El Paso Proposed Minimum Salary $3,750.00 monthly Job Location El Paso, Texas Job Type Staff Job Description Program Coordinator II responsible for coordinating educational programs, communicating with participants and clients, and ensuring smooth operation of all program-related activities. Responsibilities Plan and organize educational programs, including workshops, seminars, and training sessions, ensuring all logistical arrangements are in place. Serve as the primary point of contact for participants and clients, addressing inquiries, providing information, and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner; develop and update training materials. Collect relevant data related to program participation, outcomes, and feedback, and accurately report this information to the online database; use data to identify new and expanded programs. Collaborate with staff to share program data and insights, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Work closely with participants to identify suitable internship opportunities, facilitate placements, and ensure a positive experience; may supervise program staff at these sites. Maintain daily fiscal and purchasing activities and assist in preparation and monitoring of budgets for programs and events; help identify additional funding opportunities. Assist in establishing short- and long-term goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, and in strategic planning. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Education, Life Sciences, Agriculture or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Four years of related experience. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders. Excellent organizational abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with online databases and basic MS Office. Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Education, Life Sciences, Agriculture, or related field. Proven experience in program coordination or similar roles, preferably in an educational or nonprofit setting. Position Funding This position is grant funded and availability is contingent on grant funding.
