As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and assist with security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific access-control procedures and security-related policies. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records. Control access to restricted areas, trailer yards, loading zones, and operational spaces in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, the business, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
