AR + Collections Specialist

AR Collections Analyst (Contract / Contract-to-Hire) Location : Hybrid (2-3 days onsite) A growing organization is seeking an experienced AR Collections Analys t to support its accounts receivable operations. This role will focus primarily on collections activities, customer account management, payment follow-up, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable managing a high-volume portfolio of customer accounts Responsibilities Manage collections efforts across a portfolio of customer accounts to drive timely payment of outstanding invoices Monitor aging reports and proactively follow up on past-due balances Research and resolve payment discrepancies, billing disputes, and collection-related issues Partner with internal teams and customer contacts to remove barriers to payment and improve collection outcomes Support cash application and account reconciliation activities as needed Maintain accurate customer account records and collection notes Escalate high-risk accounts and collection concerns when appropriate Assist with process improvements that enhance collections efficiency and reduce DSO Qualifications 5+ years of business-to-business collections experience Strong understanding of accounts receivable and collection best practices Experience managing a large volume of customer accounts Excellent communication and relationship management skills Ability to independently prioritize workload and follow through on outstanding issues Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities Experience working with ERP systems and customer payment portals preferred Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment #J-18808-Ljbffr OCM Partners
