Position Overview 

We are a high-growth, mid-sized dietary supplement brand seeking a hungry, operator-first Amazon Marketplace Manager to assume end-to-end commercial ownership, operational execution, and net profitability of our Amazon Seller Central (3P) account. Balancing hands-on execution with high-level channel strategy (roughly 70/30), you will serve as our internal Subject Matter Expert (SME), offloading daily operations from senior leadership to drive revenue in a fast-paced, remote environment. In this role, you will own keyword ranking and Amazon SEO, manage PPC campaigns, optimize listing efficiency, strictly enforce dietary supplement regulatory compliance, and direct our external agency partner to maximize output.

What You’ll Own 

Commercial Ownership & Agency Direction

• Channel Performance: Lead day-to-day operations across Amazon Seller Central (FBA/FBM), driving top-line growth while optimizing net profitability, unit economics, TACoS, and MER.
• Agency Oversight: Serve as the primary internal manager for our external Amazon agency. Audit their performance, set strategic direction, and leverage them as an execution resource (e.g., ticket resolution, customer service, case escalations).
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with design leads on creative assets, collaborate with the DTC team to align Shopify and Amazon strategies, and deliver clear performance visibility to leadership.

Keyword Strategy, SEO & Listing Optimization

• SEO & Keyword SME: Conduct ongoing keyword research, competitor analysis, and index tracking. Execute strategic listing updates to capture high-volume/high-intent search terms and gain category market share.
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Execute continuous A/B testing on titles, main images, infographics, bullet points, and Storefront layouts to maximize CTR and CVR.
• A+ Content & Brand Story: Direct the strategy and layout overhaul for A+ Content, Premium A+, and the Amazon Brand Story.

Advertising & Data Analytics

• Full-Funnel Ad Strategy: Oversee and optimize PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display) and leverage DSP/AMC strategies to capture search volume and scale market share.
• Deep Analytics Reporting: Analyze catalog performance using native tools (Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, Search Term Reports) to evaluate search volume capture versus brand share.
• Cross-Channel Measurement: Track SKU-level contribution margins, TACoS vs. ACoS targets, and the halo effect of DTC ad spend on Amazon search lift using analytics platforms (e.g., Triple Whale, Google Sheets).

Account Health, Compliance & Operations

• Dietary Supplement Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to FDA guidelines, FTC structure/function claim rules, and Amazon supplement policies across all copy, images, and A+ Content.
• Account Defense: Continuously monitor Seller Central health, Voice of the Customer (VoC) metrics, and listing statuses to quickly resolve suppressed listings, stranded inventory, and policy flags.
• Customer Retention & Inventory: Manage Subscribe & Save performance, review acquisition strategies (including Amazon Vine), and collaborate with logistics on FBA stock forecasting.

First 3 Immediate Projects:

1. Listing SEO & Keyword Audit: Perform an end-to-end audit and keyword optimization across all active listings.
2. Ad Portfolio Realignment: Reallocate advertising spend across the product catalog based on keyword audit insights.
3. Content Overhaul Strategy: Develop the roadmap to upgrade A+ Content, Premium A+, and Brand Story assets.

What Success Looks Like 

First 90 Days: 

• Fully assume strategic direction and operational oversight of the agency relationship.
• Capture measurable new keyword ownership and top-of-search rankings.
• Achieve an improved distribution and efficiency of ad spend across the catalog.

In 12 Months:

• Drive organic rank improvements for core revenue-generating SKUs.
• Efficiently scale advertising spend to support the brand’s path toward $46M in annual revenue.

What You Bring | Must-Haves 

• 5+ Years of Amazon Seller Central (3P) Experience: Proven track record of managing end-to-end operations and driving 7- or 8-figure annual revenue growth.
• Dietary Supplement / CPG Expertise: Direct experience in dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, or consumables, with a clear understanding of FDA/FTC claim compliance and category gating.
• Agency Management: Proven background directing external agencies, auditing performance metrics, and guiding tactical execution.
• Ad Platform Mastery: Hands-on experience with Amazon PPC (Sponsored Ads) and familiarity with native tools (Amazon DSP, Amazon Attribution, Amazon Marketing Cloud).
• SEO & Analytics Tool Proficiency: Experience using Amazon SEO tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout) alongside native reports (Search Query Performance, Brand Analytics).
• Financial Acumen: Strong proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel for analyzing TACoS vs. ACoS, contribution margins, and SKU-level unit economics.

• Ability to accommodate limited required travel
• Willingness to work US time zones, regardless of geographic location.
• Access to a computer, a reliable internet connection, and a distraction-free work environment

Offer Details 

• Pay: $105,000 – $115,000 , depending on experience and location of the candidate.
