Job Summary
We are seeking an friendly and professional Escrow Officer to join our team! Book of business a must!In this role, you will coordinate with realtors, loan officers, underwriters, and other professionals to assist clients with the closing process in real estate transactions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with other professionals in the real estate industry, including real estate agents and loan officers
- Review complex documents such as purchase and sale agreements and lender instructions and monitor compliance with contracts
- Comply with all state and federal laws governing escrow transactions and escrow accounts
- Prepare and deliver closing documents to buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders
- Facilitate the disbursement of escrow funds
- Perform administrative tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required, bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience closing escrow transactions a must
- Understanding of real estate contracts, the loan process, title insurance, and the escrow process
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computer software, including familiarity with title and escrow software
