Collections Specialist

LHH is assisting a client with their need for a Collections Specialist in Charlotte, NC. This is a direct hire opportunity. This position is hybrid, onsite three days per week.

Responsibilities

• Manage collections for national accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding balances.
• Perform account reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and collaborating with customers to resolve issues.
• Set up new customer profiles and accounts, maintaining accurate records and supporting onboarding processes.
• Utilize Excel for tracking, analyzing, and reporting collection activities and account statuses.
• Communicate professionally with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve collection targets.

Requirements

• Experience in collections, accounts receivable, or a related finance role, in a business to business environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage high-volume workloads and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Located in or able to commute to north Charlotte; comfortable with hybrid work arrangements.
