In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care according to policies/procedures, serves as a resource for staff, and models the organization’s mission and values. What you will do in this role Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create a teamwork-oriented environment Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement (e.g., employee rounding, hourly rounds) Provide recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; support performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines Support inventory control and manage supplies and equipment Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment RN (Registered Nurse) Bachelor’s Degree About Medical City Fort Worth Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet-designated hospital located in the heart of the medical district.
