WFH Invoice / Payroll Clerk

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Work From Home (WFH) Invoice / Payroll Clerk to join our finance team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for processing invoices, managing payroll, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring employees and vendors are paid accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and approval.


• Prepare and process weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly payroll.


• Maintain employee payroll records, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and benefits.


• Reconcile payroll reports and investigate discrepancies.


• Ensure timely payment of employees and vendors.


• Maintain accurate digital records of invoices, payroll, and financial transactions.


• Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and payment inquiries from vendors.


• Assist with accounts payable and payroll reporting.


• Prepare payroll tax documentation and support compliance with applicable laws and company policies.


• Generate payroll and invoice reports for management.


• Collaborate remotely with accounting, finance, and human resources teams.


• Protect confidential employee and financial information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is preferred.


• 13 years of experience in payroll, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or accounting.


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.


• Experience using accounting and payroll software such as QuickBooks, ADP, Paychex, or similar systems.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
