What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector II? You’ll be:

• Performing intricate visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, injection molded parts, and complex production assemblies/sub-assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
• Independently inspecting products at various stages of production, ensuring compliance with required quality plans
• Using a broad range of test instruments, precision measuring devices, and electronic equipment to verify conformance with specifications
• Accepting, rejecting, or reworking defective or malfunctioning parts, and accurately documenting inspection results for identification, labeling, and traceability
• Reviewing device history records (DHR) for completeness and accuracy, and accessing customer quality inspection systems as required
• Communicating with manufacturing teams and facilitating corrective actions for nonconforming products
• Training other employees in quality control processes and procedures

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED and prior experience in production, metrology, or quality inspection
• Possess excellent visual acuity and attention to detail for identifying fine features on small parts
• Are comfortable using a Windows-based PC and related software (advanced PC skills preferred)
• Can effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and team members
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to draw valid conclusions from data
• Are able to read and comprehend instructions, visual aids, and correspondence in English
• Can perform basic math operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpret graphs
