- Assigns, directs, and supervises resident care.
- Addresses resident needs and concerns as it occurs and enters a nurse’s note in their chart.
- Administers medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Reports changes occurring with residents or personnel to the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and/or Resident Care Coordinator.
- Keeps physician and families informed about residents’ status as needed.
- Promote teamwork between staff members, shifts, and other departments.
- Completes required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- May work all shifts or Treatment Nurse as need arises.
