Machine Operator

Ice Cream Specialties is looking for a full-time machine operator. This shift would be Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 11 pm (with occasional mandatory Saturday shifts).

This position pays $26.66 - $27.66 per hour with a 60-cent shift differential between the hours of 3 pm and 7 am.

General Duties:

• Operate any machine in the building
• Operate freezer on the production floor
• Operate fruit feeders
• Make up pop mixes
• Set up machines on the floor for production
• Keep work areas clean and free of clutter and debris
• Responsible for machine efficiency
• Responsible for team breaks
• Responsible for:
• Production weights and records
• Product displacement
• Product counts and records
• Checking and ensuring proper code dates
• Have Chemical Safety Training before handling chemicals
• Have attended GMP, HACCP and Allergen Training
• Have met all requirements of the SQF Program
• Comply with all GMP requirements
• Comply with all requirements for Personal Protective Equipment as defined by the appropriate plant procedures
• Comply with all Safety Rules and Policies
• Any other skilled jobs pertaining to the machine operator position
