Administrative Coordinator

$24 - $30 per hour

Administrative Coordinator – Non-Clinical (Santa Rosa, CA) LHH is teaming up with a large healthcare organization in Santa Rosa, CA in search of an Administrative Coordinator – Non-Clinical to support care coordination and administrative case management functions across a multidisciplinary team. This position plays a key role in ensuring smooth coordination of patient services by supporting internal teams with documentation, scheduling, and communication across the continuum of care. The organization is recognized for its patient-focused approach and collaborative team environment. This is a high-volume, detail-oriented role that supports operational efficiency and timely service delivery. It offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments while contributing to improved patient outcomes behind the scenes. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple administrative priorities within a healthcare setting. This individual is a strong communicator who can work cross-functionally with internal staff and external providers. A background in healthcare administration, insurance verification, or case management support is required. Candidates should be detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident handling sensitive information in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to care coordination and case management teams Verify insurance coverage, patient eligibility, and benefits to ensure continuity of care Coordinate referrals, including home health, DME, and lower levels of care Assist with discharge planning logistics, transfers, and transportation coordination Maintain accurate records, data entry, and documentation for tracking and reporting Facilitate communication between staff, patients, families, and external providers Obtain authorizations and assist with denials tracking and appeals documentation Support scheduling, referrals, and follow-up tasks across the department Compile and maintain resource files and patient-related documentation Assist with departmental projects and general administrative functions Qualifications: Required: Experience in a healthcare administrative, case management support, or coordination role Required: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Required: Experience verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorizations Required: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems Required: Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred: Experience supporting discharge planning or utilization management processes Preferred: Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare workflows Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Location: Fully on-site in Santa Rosa, CA Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday Pay Rate: $24-$30/hour, depending on experience Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
