You will source and evaluate investments, guide strategic initiatives, and connect insights from the AI ecosystem to executive decision-making. It is both analytical and highly collaborative, requiring strong judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.Responsibilities:Source and evaluate venture investments across Seed, Series A, and Series B, owning deal flow through diligence and executionDrive alignment and execution of AI/ML initiatives across the company, including Generative AI and physical AIMaintain relationships with portfolio companies and ensure alignment with Micron’s investment strategyDevelop executive-level briefings and recommendations for leadership, the Board, and the Investment CommitteeMentor team members and partner cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholdersMinimum Qualifications:Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, or related field and MBA from a Tier 1 universityExperience in venture capital, startups, or senior operating roles, including deal sourcing and investment processesStrong financial acumen with technical depth in at least one relevant AI or semiconductor-related domainExperience influencing senior stakeholders and delivering clear, data-backed recommendationsAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with competing prioritiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley venture ecosystemBackground in data center hardware systems and/or data center softwareExperience at a Tier 1 consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG)Domain expertise in areas such as physical AI, autonomous vehicles, manufacturing, or data center systems/softwareInternational education or work experience and exposure to global business environmentsThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$196,000.00 - $344,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
