Job Title: Assembler Job Description

This role focuses on assembling fans and fan components used in data center servers for a new product line. You will work with mechanical and electrical components in a climate-controlled industrial environment, following blueprints and safety procedures to produce high-quality assemblies. The position offers structured training, a set schedule, and opportunities to learn a variety of tasks and equipment.

• Assemble fans and fan components for data center servers according to work instructions and blueprints.
• Use basic hand tools, power hand tools, and measuring devices to complete assembly tasks accurately.
• Learn and perform all tasks required to support the new product line, including related industrial and warehouse activities.
• Operate or learn to operate equipment associated with the job, such as forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and other material-handling tools, as needed.
• Follow all general work rules, policies, and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality standards.
• Identify routine problems in the assembly process, determine basic causes, and correct routine issues within defined procedures.
• Work in varied environments, including on ladders, in high places, and in confined areas, while maintaining safety practices.
• Perform basic math to measure, calculate, and verify parts, components, and assemblies.
• Collaborate with team members and support a positive, cooperative work environment.
• Maintain a commitment to performing quality work and meeting production and schedule requirements.
• Work scheduled shifts and overtime as needed to support production demands.
• Participate in orientation and training on first shift before transitioning to assigned shift.

• Ability to learn to operate equipment associated with the job, including power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or assembly instructions.
• Comfort working in an industrial, warehouse, or assembly environment.

• Previous assembly experience is a plus but not required.
• Electrical experience is beneficial and considered an advantage.
• Experience in industrial or warehouse settings is helpful.
• Familiarity with data center or electronics-related components is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to a structured training program and follow a set schedule.

You will work in a climate-controlled facility with a consistent, set schedule that supports work-life balance. This position is based in a climate-controlled industrial facility focused on assembly work for data center server components. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday. Second shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with the expectation that employees may stay up to two additional hours when working overtime. Third shift runs from 11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Some Saturday work may be required; however, back-to-back Saturdays are not mandatory, and scheduling accommodates occasional personal commitments. Orientation and training are conducted on first shift, and employees assigned to second shift will complete approximately two weeks of training on first shift before transitioning to their regular schedule. The role involves working around industrial equipment such as power hand tools, forklifts, skyjacks, cranes, and measuring devices, and may require working at heights, on ladders, and in confined areas. Safety is a priority, and safety-toed shoes are required as part of the dress code.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Smith, AR.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
