Staff Accountant - Temp Position Onsite

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company. This role will handle a variety of accounting functions including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable support, fixed assets management, business property tax reporting, and general ledger reconciliations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Ensure accurate cash reporting and proper documentation Accounts Receivable Generate and distribute customer invoices Apply customer payments and reconcile AR ledger Accounts Payable Support Review and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper approval Assist with payment processing (checks, ACH, wire transfers) Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies Fixed Assets Maintain fixed asset schedules Record asset additions, disposals, and transfers Assist with annual physical asset inventory Business Property Statement Prepare and file annual business property statements Maintain records of reportable assets and supporting documentation Prepare and post journal entries Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations Assist with month-end and year-end close processes #J-18808-Ljbffr JNR Incorporated
