Lead Field Service TechnicianAs a Lead Field Service Technician here at Honeywell, you will take a pivotal role in leading field service operations to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to guide and support field service teams while executing service tasks efficiently and effectively.You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on Hybrid work schedule.In this role, you will impact the operational success of field service activities, enhance customer experience through expert service delivery, and contribute to the continuous improvement of service processes and team performance.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor field service technicians to ensure quality and timely service delivery.Perform advanced troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of building automation systems, fire systems and access controls.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize service operations and resolve complex technical issues.Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements during field operations.Maintain accurate service records and provide detailed reports on service activities and outcomes.QualificationsYou Must HaveProven experience in field service roles with leadership responsibilities in building automation, fire systems and access controls.Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, including sensors, control systems, and energy management technologies.Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of complex technical equipment in the field environment.Experience with service management tools and software to document and track service activities efficiently.Ability to lead a team effectively while managing multiple priorities and ensuring high-quality service delivery.We ValueAssociate degree or higher in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.5+ years of experience in field service within building automation or similar industries.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate in field service processes.Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Benefits of Working for HoneywellIn addition to a competitive salary, leading-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
