You will ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process and perform quality checks as instructedOperate and read hand-held RF units to find, move and allocate materialUse a resource management system (SAP) to process all incoming and outgoing freightPrepare items for shipment by assembling containers, posting weights and affixing proper postage and paperworkInterface with shipping office, customer service, drivers and carriers to ensure proper deliveryCoordinate required emergency shipments and requests during non-work hoursReport irregularities or equipment malfunctionsDrive and maintain forklifts through daily inspection checklists and perform 5S+ housekeeping duties as necessaryQualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Minimum two years experience in a logistics or warehouse environment including order selection, packing, and receiving processesHigh School diploma or GED from an accredited institutionMust be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the futureNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitationPreferred Qualifications:Good communication and interpersonal skillsExperience using SAP, warehouse management systemBasic understanding of Microsoft applicationsSkills:Position Criteria:Ability to use good judgment when handling material with a safety focusAbility to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as neededAbility to lift 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
