Project Director

Job Overview The Project Director will lead and oversee projects in Water Damage Restoration, Fire Damage Restoration, Asbestos, Lead, and Mold Abatement, as well as Reconstruction Build‑Back Services. This role is critical to ensuring the successful completion of complex restoration and abatement projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The Project Director will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to manage all phases of the projects, from initiation to final completion. Key Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end project management for water, fire, asbestos, lead, and mold restoration/abatement, and build‑back services, ensuring projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing progress updates, and ensuring customer satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals. Oversee and mentor project managers, site supervisors, and field technicians, assigning resources, providing guidance, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards. Develop project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control; analyze project financials to ensure profitability and report performance to upper management. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards, IICRC certifications, and other industry requirements related to water, fire, mold, and asbestos/lead abatement. Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage workflow to meet deadlines; address and resolve potential delays or conflicts. Perform regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality of work and compliance with industry standards; implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain high service quality. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and client communications; prepare detailed reports for clients and senior management. Qualifications Strong knowledge of water damage, fire damage, asbestos/lead abatement, and mold remediation processes. Proven track record in managing large, complex restoration and abatement projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Key Competencies Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Exceptional interpersonal and client relationship management skills. Detail‑oriented with a focus on safety, quality, and compliance.
