Endurance Solutions Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Ithaca, New York. Work Environment

Our rehabilitation center fosters a supportive and collaborative atmosphere where professionals work together to optimize patient outcomes. As a Physical Therapist, you will find yourself in a fully-equipped clinical environment designed for multifaceted rehabilitation, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that cater to a range of therapeutic disciplines. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of each patient's physical limitations, mobility challenges, and functional capabilities to develop individualized treatment plans that align with their rehabilitation goals.
• Implement tailored exercise programs and therapeutic interventions focusing on improving strength, range of motion, balance, coordination, and endurance.
• Assist patients in relearning safe and efficient walking techniques, particularly vital for those who are recovering from prolonged immobility or serious injuries.
• Develop strategies aimed at reducing fall risks, educating patients and their caregivers on effective prevention techniques to enhance safety in daily activities.
• Deliver pulmonary rehabilitation programs tailored to patients with respiratory conditions, facilitating improvements in their breathing efficiency and exercise tolerance.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
• Support residents in improving their ability to perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), thus promoting independence.
• Incorporate cognitive rehabilitation techniques when necessary to assist residents in maintaining or enhancing their mental functions, ensuring a well-rounded approach to therapy.

The patients you will work with at Endurance Solutions typically include individuals recovering from surgery, those rehabilitating from serious injuries, and patients with chronic or acute conditions requiring comprehensive physical therapy intervention. Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New York is mandatory.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution is required.
• 2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing facility or equivalent setting is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient interaction, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
• A proven ability to develop and implement detailed, patient-specific treatment plans that consider the unique needs and goals of each patient.
• A genuine passion for facilitating meaningful recovery and improved patient wellness through innovative therapeutic practices.
• A capacity to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing rehabilitation in a skilled nursing or similar facility.
• Background in developing pulmonary rehabilitation programs or cognitive rehabilitation activities.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and treatment documentation processes.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary scale between $90,000 and $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits include:
