This role will coordinate projects internally with multiple cross-functional partners, and, critically, with external contract manufacturers within the company portfolio. Analyst level supports product development, cost analysis, speed and cost savings initiatives.Responsibilities:Category/Commodity Management:Document and communicate category strategies to cross-functional business partnersConduct sourcing events that increase category competition delivering cost optimization, quality and supply assuranceAnalyze & negotiate vendor quotes for new business and communicate award decisionAnalyzing and minimizing cost increase requests and communicate business impactConduct comprehensive analysis on opportunities to drive cost or operational efficienciesLead tooling expenses from external vendorsAnalyze and maintain standard costs with internal partnersMaintain, extract, and analyze data in business IT systemsMay train and delegate tasks to temps or other associates as neededSourcing Execution & Vendor Engagement:Support development, implementation, and execution of Bath & Body Works Sourcing StrategiesSupport vendor set up & maintenance processesAssist in vendor performance improvementMaintain vendor profiles & capabilitiesCollect and follow up on information related to RFQ process with vendorDevelop an understanding of BBW vendor base and capabilitiesKey ProjectsDevelop and maintain an effective sourcing strategy for defined contract manufacturing categoriesSupport Value Engineering (VE) project execution & other department & central initiativesSupporting Sourcing excellence initiatives through standard methodology & process committeesLead category strategy analytical workTalent Management & DevelopmentCreation and execution of Individual Development Plan (IDP) / Personal Performance Objectives (PPO’s) / Quarterly Connects / Performance Review in accordance with the performance management life cycle processIdentify continuous learning opportunities for own development (ie.
