What We're Looking For

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Florida Bar membership
• 2-7+ years of litigation experience
• Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and client relationships effectively
• Insurance coverage experience is highly desirable
• First-party and/or third-party insurance coverage litigation experience preferred, but not required
• Motivated self-starter with a collaborative mindset
  
  

We are a nationally recognized law firm seeking an Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney to join our growing Fort Lauderdale office. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney who wants to work on sophisticated coverage matters, high-exposure claims, and complex litigation while building a long-term career with one of the most respected practices in the insurance industry.

For decades, our firm has represented insurers in some of their most challenging and consequential matters. Our attorneys are trusted advisors on complex coverage disputes, catastrophic losses, declaratory judgment actions, bad faith issues, and commercial litigation across jurisdictions nationwide. We are known for providing strategic, practical counsel and delivering exceptional results on behalf of our clients.

Our Florida-based team regularly handles first-party and third-party insurance coverage matters involving property damage, construction defects, hurricanes, water intrusion, fire losses, catastrophic events, commercial general liability claims, and other complex coverage disputes. 

• Manage insurance coverage and litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, coverage analyses, and legal memoranda
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategy
• Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances
• Analyze complex coverage questions and advise clients on risk management and claims handling issues
• Collaborate with experienced litigators on high-profile and high-exposure matters
• Participate in trial preparation and case development
