Associate Director, Global Marketing Engagement Influenza
Scorpion Therapeutics
Primary Responsibilities Portfolio analytics: Lead development of commercial data and insights for Global influenza portfolio priorities; conceptualize analytics capabilities and tools anchored to marketing and launch frameworks. Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with global marketing, DHH, and cross-functional teams to drive strategic decisions and increase commercial rigor across pipeline asset development; serve as Insights & Analytics quarterback to address key business questions. Strategy enablement: Lead Strategic Portfolio Reviews, Trimester Business Reviews (QBRs), prioritization meetings; synthesize and document key trade-off decisions for executive audiences via updates to the Book of Work. Analytics delivery: Proactively manage delivery of projects using data manipulation, analysis, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel-VBA, Power BI); use patient modeling techniques (statistical, patient-flow, simulations) for insight generation. Required Experience and Skills Bachelor’s degree (preferably science or business). 5+ years in insights & analytics, strategic planning, advanced analytics, market research, marketing, or related roles in pharma/biotech. Strong data-grounded storytelling and communication. Ability to translate commercial analytics into actionable insights and recommendations for presentations. Deep understanding of real-world data assets and commercial healthcare data ecosystem. Experience conducting secondary data analytics on large datasets. Relationship‑building, problem solving, influencing, and cross‑functional collaboration. Preferred Experience and Skills Advanced degree (e.g., MS, PharmD, PhD). Healthcare datasets/insights/analytics. Life sciences or consulting industry experience. Global life sciences analytics expertise (US and ex‑US datasets, forecasting, predictive analytics, competitive intelligence, etc.). Vaccines and/or infectious disease experience.
