CNC Machinist Vertical Mill

We are hiring a CNC Machinist Vertical Mill for a 1st or 2nd shift, contract-to-hire opportunity in Oberlin, OH. This role offers $27-$35 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime available as needed. You'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and related equipment in a clean, safety-focused environment. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Mills/Lathes and Bridgeport machines
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Load and unload raw materials in machines
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements
• Recognize and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
• Perform tool wear offsets
• Perform cleaning and light maintenance on machinery
• Utilize and abide by ISO requirements and safety procedures

Qualifications

• 3 or more years' of consecutive experience performing set ups and operating CNC Milling machines
• High School Diploma or GED
• Good problem solving, math, and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. independently
• Must pass a pre-employment screening

Shift:

• 1st (6 am to 2:30 pm, with ability to work Overtime as needed)
• 2nd (2:30 pm - 11 pm, with ability to work Overtime as needed)

Wage: $27-$35 an hour based on experience plus $1 shift differential Contract to hire Company benefits include once hired in:
