What You’ll Do

Provide direct patient care under supervision in a hospital setting
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
Document patient care activities accurately and timely
Assist with patient assessments and care planning
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
Follow all safety and compliance protocols

What You Need

Required:

Valid LVN license in Texas
Proven experience as a psychiatric mental health tech/aide
Ability to work at Terrell State Hospital with patients having dual diagnoses
Willingness to comply with HHSC immunization, drug testing, fingerprinting, and training requirements

Preferred:

Experience in a hospital or acute care environment
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
