Optometric Technician (Hiring Immediately)

Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Optometric Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist our optometrists in providing top-quality eye care services. Responsibilities include conducting preliminary eye exams, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. Requirements: Key Responsibilities: * Conduct pre-tests and gather patient medical histories * Assist with visual acuity testing and lensometry * Perform retinal imaging and other diagnostic tests * Maintain and clean examination equipment * Educate patients on contact lens care and eyewear options * Manage patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations * Assist with administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: * Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar role preferred * Strong understanding of optometric procedures and equipment * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Attention to detail and ability to multitask * Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems * Certification as an Optometric Technician (COA or COT) is a plus PI131deb1e2ee4-29400-41040102
