Med Surg RN

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a PRN Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to adult patients on our busy Med Surg unit. In this per diem role, you will assess patient conditions, develop and implement individualized care plans, administer medications and treatments, and closely monitor vital signs and responses to therapy. You will collaborate with physicians and an interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe, timely discharges and educate patients and families on diagnoses and home care. Working with advanced technology in a Level II trauma facility, you will practice in a safety-focused, patient-first culture that values teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning. PRN scheduling offers flexibility while allowing you to expand clinical skills, pursue specialty training, and contribute to high-quality care for a diverse community across the Central Savannah River Area.
