Direct Counsel has partnered with a  prestigious and highly regarded personal injury law firm seeking an accomplished Trial Attorney to join its growing litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants to take an active role in significant personal injury matters and gain meaningful courtroom and trial experience. The successful candidate will manage cases through all phases of litigation, work directly with clients, negotiate favorable resolutions, and have the opportunity to take cases to trial and verdict .

The firm offers a competitive compensation package, strong benefits, and a hybrid schedule with two days per week working remotely .

What You’ll Do

As a Trial Attorney, you will play an integral role in developing and litigating personal injury matters from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include:

• Manage personal injury cases through all stages of litigation

• Develop case strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and potential exposure

• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents

• Handle discovery and prepare matters for depositions, hearings, mediation, arbitration, and trial

• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers

• Prepare cases for trial and serve as trial counsel through verdict

• Counsel clients throughout the litigation process and provide clear, strategic legal guidance

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, experts, and other members of the litigation team to achieve strong client outcomes

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience

• Strong litigation, legal research, and persuasive writing skills

• Trial experience or a demonstrated interest and ability to take cases to verdict

• Strong negotiation and case-management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced litigation environment

• Strong commitment to client service and advocacy

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $140,000–$200,000 , depending on experience and qualifications.
