Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Bilingual Spanish Phlebotomist to join our team in Silver Spring, MD.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am to 4:30pm; Saturdays 9:00am to 2:00pm (must be flexible) (30-minute lunch break)Job Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryOther Duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more of phlebotomy experienceBilingual SpanishAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency may meet requirementsAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionTravel to additional site as needed, reliable transportationAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided with opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.PST's may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metricsPay Range: $17.75 - $26.00 per hourAll job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
