Job Summary

Regents' Glen Country Club is seeking an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the Food & Beverage Director in overseeing daily operations across The Fairway Table restaurant, poolside dining, and Club events. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with solid restaurant experience who's ready to grow into a leadership position within a well-established, member-focused country club environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Food & Beverage Director with day-to-day management of restaurant, poolside, and event dining operations
Help lead, schedule, and supervise FOH staff, stepping in on the floor during peak service
Support staff training, coaching, and performance management
Ensure consistent service quality and guest satisfaction for members and guests
Help monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls in coordination with the F&B Director
Assist with staffing coverage across the restaurant and pool during evenings, weekends, and special events
Address member and guest concerns promptly and professionally
Help enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards throughout F&B operations
Step in for the F&B Director as needed to ensure continuity of operations

Qualifications

Restaurant experience required; supervisory or assistant management experience a plus
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work evenings and weekends, including special events
Comfortable managing staff and operations across multiple service areas (restaurant and pool)
Professional, member-focused demeanor with strong problem-solving skills
