Job Details
An established Chicago restaurant group is hiring an Executive Chef to lead the kitchen at one of its Flagship location. We need someone who can set a high standard for food and service, lead a strong team, and keep the kitchen running well every day.
What you'll do
- Lead, train, and support the kitchen team.
- Maintain consistent food quality, prep, and service standards.
- Manage ordering, inventory, food cost, and labor in partnership with the leadership team.
- Keep the kitchen organized, clean, and compliant with food-safety standards.
- Help develop menus and improve kitchen systems as needed.
What we're looking for
- Experience leading a busy restaurant kitchen, ideally as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine.
- Strong people management and communication skills.
- Sound judgment on food quality, staffing, and cost control.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to stay calm during service.
