Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitation center, where you will work directly with patients in a fully equipped therapy environment. Our team environment fosters collaboration between healthcare professionals, ensuring that our patients receive comprehensive care. You will enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday work schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and recognize the specific objectives and requirements of each patient.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused attention and individualized care.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to optimize movement and functionality.
• Administer cost-effective therapies aimed at enhancing clients' range of motion and mobility, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Develop customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them overcome challenges and achieve desired outcomes.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, monitor progress effectively, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care and optimize patient results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation. Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of these patients, helping them regain their mobility and independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current and valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• No history of board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques to assist in rehabilitation processes.
• Experience in designing and implementing effective exercise programs for diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software, particularly WebPT, to document and track patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Experience as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• A proven track record of successfully treating a wide range of physical therapy patients.
• Strong communication skills to foster positive patient relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits
