Junior Data Engineer / Database Modernization Consultant

Job Location - Smithfield RI (Day One Onsite - Hybrid)

Job Descriptions

• Strong hands-on Sybase knowledge is a must; experience analyzing database structures, stored procedures, data models, and integration dependencies; ability to support discovery and evaluate migration options from Sybase to SQL.
• Experience with data analysis, ETL, and ingestion of data along with the opportunity to analyze and draw key insights from collected data.
• Experience in analyzing legacy systems and designs.
• Proficiency in database technologies like Postgres and SQLServer.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis to support business requirements.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Java.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient data ingestions and delivery.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment with tools like Git SCM, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Familiarity with Agile practices and experience delivering data solutions in an Agile environment.
• Dimensional Modeling with experience in crafting conformed
• Results oriented with proven ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal, negotiating, and influencing skills

For this role, the gross annual base salary range is $56186 to $87556 for a full-time position.
