This is not a traditional customer service position. Yes, you’ll help customers with billing questions, policy changes, account updates, and everyday insurance needs. But we’re looking for someone who can do more than simply handle the request in front of them. Our goal is simple: Solve the problem. Review the account. Identify opportunities. Take action. What You’ll Do Your role will be a combination of customer care, account development, retention, and inside sales. Customer Care & Service Help customers with billing, policy changes, account questions, and general insurance needs Handle incoming phone calls, texts, and emails Assist with underwriting requests and account follow-up Help customers navigate claims questions and connect them with the right resources Provide a friendly, professional customer experience Account Development & Inside Sales Review existing customer accounts for missing coverage and opportunities Quote additional insurance products for current customers Follow up with customers and prospects Help turn incoming customer conversations into sales opportunities Schedule insurance and account reviews Work alongside our sales team to grow customer relationships Retention & Proactive Outreach Contact customers regarding account changes and potential concerns Help prevent cancellations and improve customer retention Follow up on pending applications, documents, and account needs Proactively reach out to customers instead of simply waiting for the phone to ring Who We Are Looking For You may be a great fit if you: Genuinely enjoy talking with people Are comfortable having sales conversations Can handle several priorities without becoming overwhelmed Take ownership of problems and follow through Notice opportunities others might miss Are confident on the phone Are organized and detail-oriented Work well as part of a team Want a position where your performance can increase your income Are interested in developing a career rather than simply finding another job Insurance experience is helpful, but the right personality, work ethic, and willingness to learn are more important to us. Licensing An Ohio Property & Casualty insurance license will be required for this position.
