CLM Consultant

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Contract Lifecycle Management Consultant (Remote in US OR UK) to join a growing implementation practice focused on helping enterprise clients transform and automate their contract management processes.

This is a client-facing role requiring a combination of strong implementation expertise, business process analysis, stakeholder management, and hands-on configuration experience. The successful candidate will work directly with enterprise customers to design, configure, and deploy CLM solutions that solve real business challenges.

Unlike many CLM roles, this position requires genuine implementation experience. We are looking for professionals who have built and configured CLM solutions from the ground up rather than simply deploying pre-existing templates or supporting established environments.

What You'll Be Doin

• Lead and participate in client discovery sessions and requirements workshops
\n
• Analyse existing contract processes and identify opportunities for automation and optimisation
\n
• Design, configure, and implement Contract Lifecycle Management solutions
\n
• Build workflows, approval processes, templates, clauses, and business rules
\n
• Translate business requirements into scalable CLM solutions
\n
• Produce process maps, workflow diagrams, and solution documentation
\n
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and technical teams throughout implementation projects
\n
• Support integrations between CLM platforms and external business systems
\n
• Create and execute test plans, conduct system testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
\n
• Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues
\n
• Deliver client training and knowledge transfer sessions
\n
• Provide ongoing best-practice guidance to clients throughout project delivery
\n

Essential Experience

\n
• 3+ years of Contract Lifecycle Management implementation experience
\n
• Proven experience implementing DocuSign CLM, SpringCM, or comparable CLM platforms
\n
• Experience building CLM workflows and processes from scratch
\n
• Strong understanding of CLM architecture, configuration, and administration
\n
• Experience gathering requirements and facilitating client workshops
\n
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
\n
• Experience supporting software implementation projects in enterprise environments
\n
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
\n

Highly Desired

\n
• DocuSign CLM implementation experience
\n
• DocuSign CLM Consultant Accreditation or equivalent certifications
\n
• Experience with Salesforce administration, configuration, or integration
\n
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, and connected enterprise systems
\n
• Workflow modelling experience using tools such as Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Visio
\n
• Experience working within legal technology, CLM, contract analytics, or document automation environments
\n
