Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and screenings to identify mental health issues and needs of clients.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Providing therapy services, including individual, group, and family counseling, ensuring that techniques are evidence-based and culturally appropriate.
\n
• Collaborating with school staff, parents, and external providers to coordinate comprehensive support services.
\n
• Engaging in crisis intervention when necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
\n
• Actively participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans when needed.
\n
• Documenting progress notes and treatment outcomes for each client consistently to maintain compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Providing on-call support as scheduled, responding to urgent clinical needs or inquiries.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will serve are primarily school-aged children from diverse backgrounds experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Many of these individuals come from underprivileged communities and may face significant barriers to accessing mental health services. In your role, you will utilize a trauma-informed and culturally competent approach to support each client’s unique needs, promoting mental wellness and resilience in a safe, supportive environment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
\n
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience, ideally in a school or community mental health setting.

• Strong understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment methodologies, particularly for children and adolescents.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on sensitivity to diverse cultures and individual experiences.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team while adhering to ethical standards of practice.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Unity Point Wellness & Counseling offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
