PRO Services Specialist

Pay Range $17.00 - $20.70 per hour Purpose Floor & Decor strives to be the one‑stop destination for our professional clients (PRO customers) in the hard‑surface flooring contractor space. This position is focused on building relationships with PRO customers, earning their trust, and helping grow their business. The role reports to the PRO Services Manager and supports the execution of Floor & Decor’s PRO priorities. Responsibilities Understand trends in the PRO market and collaborate with Installation Materials and Design Services departments to build the sales organization and serve PRO customers. Execute the PRO Services Blueprint to deliver world‑class experiences for PRO customers. Support the PRO desk in‑store: handle phone calls, manage and follow up on orders, provide customer support, and manage escalations. Collaborate with the Store Team to identify and engage PROs in the store. Maintain extensive knowledge of Floor & Decor products and train the Store Team on the selling process. Educate PRO customers about the PRO business and expand their participation. Assist PROs in signing up for the PRO Premier Rewards Program and demonstrate the benefits of the PRO APP. Promote PRO Credit Solutions such as the Commercial Business Account and PRO Premier Credit Card. Coordinate and assist with PRO customer in‑store activities and collaborate on all store initiatives. Demonstrate effectiveness in program and benefit presentations. Travel to customer and PRO job sites (up to 20%) as needed to present Floor & Decor’s benefits and capabilities. Perform additional functions, duties, or tasks of a similar nature as required to achieve business objectives. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher is a plus. At least one year of experience in retail or wholesale contractor sales, service, supply, or professional installation. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus. Bilingual in Spanish or the most dominant language in the store trade‑area is a plus. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi‑task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast‑paced environment. Results‑oriented and able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures. Working Conditions (Travel & Environment) Hourly position; hours may exceed eight per day. Travel up to 20% of the time. Occasional exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Typical noise level is moderate to noisy. Physical demands include lifting 20‑50 pounds occasionally, 10‑25 pounds frequently, and moving objects under 10 pounds continuously; requires use of hands, fingers, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping.
