Mashcole Property Management is looking for an Accounting Manager in Calabasas, CA. The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience within the property management industry, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting processes. Previous experience with RealPage is required, as the successful candidate will be responsible for working within the system to manage and maintain accurate financial records. Job Summary: Candidate will manage the financial status of multiple properties in their portfolio in a fast-paced environment. Reports to: Controller Wage Status: 70,000.00 - 84,000.00 Annual Salary (based on experience), Exempt Benefits/Perks: Great Medical/Dental Coverage Enrollment in our 401(k) Paid Holidays Casual Office Atmosphere Group Brainstorming Sessions Open Door Policy Team Based Strategic Planning Dog Friendly Environment, Featuring an Adorable Labradoodle Job Responsibilities: Responsible for managing all aspects of accounting including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and collections. Generate FOM billing and GPR journal entries for clients Create and update tax reserves Process management fees, semi-monthly payroll, and payroll reimbursements, etc. Prepare budgets for property expenses, review A/P's and cut checks as required Manage all accounting aspects in Yardi Set up new properties in Yardi and post rents in compliance with section 8 or related Accurately process month-end reports, quarterly reports, and audits as required Pay property taxes, property insurance, mortgage and other property related expenses Curate strong client relations and provide outstanding customer service Prepare, review, and upload financial reports as directed Deliver timely and accurate financial processing, month end close, and balance sheet reconciliations Other accounting duties and/or projects as required Qualifications Property management experience (One year preferred) Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business or related field (Required) RealPage Experience (Required) Strong excel skills (Required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
