Responsibilities
- Monitor telemetry patients, interpret rhythm strips, and respond to arrhythmias according to protocol
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered; verify dosages and monitor patient response
- Perform nursing assessments and document findings in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff to coordinate care and escalate changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient safety measures, infection control practices, and ongoing patient and family education
- Ensure accurate charting, medication reconciliation, and adherence to unit policies

Requirements
- Active RN license in Kansas (KS RN)
- BLS certification
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- 1+ year of telemetry nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Telemetry unit experience; comfortable managing multiple monitors and patient data
- Ability to float to related units as needed and work a weekend schedule (Fridays through Sundays) with potential holiday coverage
