The project manager also works with in-house and client engineers and designers.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform medium to advanced-level project management work activities and projects requiring the application of project management knowledge in a safe, effective, efficient, and economic accomplishment of assigned objectives.Develop, review, and coordinate the project plan, schedule, budget, activities, materials, equipment, tools, and staff.Assist in developing and scoping documents, deliverables, and cost estimates.Assist in data gathering and analysis for the reporting on the project progress, scheduled deliverables, and budget.Identify, clarify, and make recommendations for solutions to project plan deviations and work-related problems with least impact and risk through analysis of reports and records; evaluate multiple solutions and interpret the results of the technical analysis.Hold contractors accountable to the system safety process.Provide recommendations as an active participant of a project management team; communicate and coordinate with customers and interconnected companies on issues.Support project management team members: provide guidance and training, as assigned; review work of other team members, as assigned.Utilize technical interfaces of project management and provide technical support to team.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor or Associate of ScienceExperience in project management with capital projectsExperience interfacing with engineering procurement and construction personnelExperience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Roanoke, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $52.88/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
