Director, Client Services

Momento, a Chicago based sports fan experience and data company, is currently accepting applications for the role of Director, Client Services. This role will be responsible for overseeing the relationships and strategies between Momento clients and the company. Momento is a sports fan experience service that provides rollercoaster ride photos for every fan at every moment from every game. Momento captures fans in the moment, creating one-of-a-kind keepsakes from gameday while helping teams and brands engage their audiences through unique in-venue activations and partnerships. We’re looking for a relationship builder and creative problem solver with a passion for the sports landscape. In this role, you’ll take ownership of key client relationships, lead gameday teams across multiple markets, and help shape how fans experience Momento. Roles & Responsibilities Own the client relationship from launch through the full season, including onboarding, implementation, ongoing communication, recaps, and renewal preparation. Develop a deep understanding of each partner’s goals and definition of success, including fan engagement, lead generation, sponsorship objectives, data/analytics, and operational requirements. Identify opportunities for expansion and renewal, working with leadership to surface additional Momento products, use cases, sponsorship opportunities, or activations that could benefit the client. Prepare and lead regular client check-ins, including agendas, performance updates, action items, and follow-ups. Own post-meeting follow-through, ensuring action items have clear owners, deadlines, and completion. Create and deliver client-facing performance recaps that clearly communicate results, insights, wins, challenges, and opportunities. Monitor account health and proactively flag risks related to performance, engagement, deliverables, client satisfaction, or upcoming deadlines. Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Data & Analytics, Operations, Creative, and Business Development to ensure client commitments are delivered accurately and on time. Act as the internal voice of the client, translating client feedback and challenges into clear requests and priorities for internal teams. Become an expert in Momento’s products and capabilities and confidently communicate how the platform, data, and activations can solve client challenges. Proactively review upcoming activations and gamedays to ensure assets, staffing, platform configuration, reporting requirements, and client expectations are ready in advance. Respond quickly and professionally to client issues, coordinating internally to drive resolution and communicating updates until the issue is fully resolved. Requirements 3-5 years of experience in client services, account management, or sports marketing or sports partnerships Bachelor’s Degree preferred Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can change quickly. Comfortable supporting live event environments and solving problems as they arise Strong presentation skills and confidence communicating with team, venue, league, brand, and sponsorship stakeholders. Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and support client service. Availability to work some nights and weekends, with travel required. Ability to manage multiple clients and meet all deadlines in a fast-paced environment Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience.
