Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through new business development and strategic account management. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, growing existing accounts, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, customer visits, and market research.
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts by identifying opportunities and strengthening customer relationships.
• Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline, forecasts, and customer records.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, purchasing, and leadership teams to support customer needs and business growth.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned customers and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of prospecting and generating new business.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, OEM sales preferred.
• Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Syspro or a similar ERP system preferred.

Pay: 90k-100k
