Business Development Representative 1Alta Material Handling is seeking a full-time Business Development Representative 1. This position is fully remote, with an expectation to travel occasionally for in-person staff meetings.Responsibilities include:Lead Generation & Lead QualificationEffectively Communicate Alta products and servicesRespond and filter incoming callsDevelop a thorough understanding of product lines, basic technical aspects, business cycle and customer support.TrainingMeet minimum weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly results standardsIncorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedConsistent, regular, and reliable attendance including being ready for work at the designated start timeQualifications:Associate's or bachelor's degree preferredPrevious CRM experience is required. (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)Previous pipeline management experience is required.Previous outbound prospecting experience is required.Ability to identify immediate concerns providing quick and effective responsesStrong problem solving and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsStrategic, competitive and collaborativeResults orientatedComputer programs – proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.Desire to build your career. This role is designed as a feeder for future sales rolesReasoning Ability - Intermediate: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
