Logistics/Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments from order through delivery
- Prepare, review, and maintain Bills of Lading, invoices, packing lists, and import/shipping documentation
- Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers
- Track shipments and proactively address delays or discrepancies
- Process customer orders and provide shipment updates
- Handle customer inquiries and provide professional customer service by phone and email
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and maintaining accurate shipment records
- Coordinate closely with internal operations and warehouse personnel
- Perform additional logistics and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, import/export, freight forwarding, shipping, or supply chain
- Experience with Bills of Lading and shipping documentation
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
- Experience with international imports is strongly preferred
- Food, seafood, perishables, or international distribution experience is a plus
