We are currently seeking an Estimator for our headquarters in Wilmington, NC. We would consider this role for a remote or hybrid work situation; ideally 20% WFH and 80% in office. Will consider candidates outside of region and will offer relocation assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST have 3 or more years of experience estimating for US based commercial and/or federal construction. 5 or more years' experience in commercial, institutions, or military construction estimating preferred. Associate's degree or equivalent experience. RS Means, e4Clicks, experience preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares and maintains status of plan reproduction. Solicits and maintains communication with subcontractors and vendors. Prepares subcontractor scopes of work. Transmits addenda and other bid information to subcontractors. Ensures multiple bidders on each trade. Ensures proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day. Contacts supply houses to obtain material quotes. Shows creativity and resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractors. Enters all relevant information into the estimate. Adheres to standard project estimation, approval, and change control processes. Identifies issues and risks; develops approaches to minimize and mitigate. Resolves conflict and escalates issues when necessary. #J-18808-Ljbffr Brawley
