About The Position We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 65-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This opportunity begins on Dec 15, 2025, offering full-time, Monday through Friday shifts from 7:30am to 4:00pm. The assignment is based in a medium security correctional facility and focuses on chronic, preventative, and urgent care services. Job Details Location: Pennsylvania Facility Type: Correctional Facility Start Date: Dec 15, 2025 LOA: 65 days Provider Type Needed: Family Practice Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm; full-time Responsibilities and Duties Conduct sick call and daily rounding Manage chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-up appointments Lead preventative care clinics Perform infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed Triage trauma cases Complete patient charting and documentation Manage medication refills Participate in morning PA/NP lines, including suture removal and follow-ups Address medication non-compliance issues with patients Additional Information Correctional facility experience is a plus Active Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Experience with EMR systems is preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A‑rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
