About the Role: The Investment Analyst will join a small, highly collaborative investment team and gain hands-on exposure to trading, investment research, portfolio management, and data analytics. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys financial markets, has strong analytical abilities, and is excited to leverage technology, automation, and AI to improve investment processes and outcomes. Responsibilities: Conduct investment and fund research Execute trades and support portfolio rebalancing activities Maintain investment models and portfolio data Develop tools and process improvements using technology and automation Support advisor research requests and reporting needs Assist with special projects and ongoing investment team initiatives Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience 2-5 years of relevant experience in investments, finance, trading, analytics, or a related field Strong understanding of financial markets and investments Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis functions Working knowledge of Python, SQL, VBA, or similar programming languages Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications: Investment or fund research experience Experience with AI tools and automation initiatives Progress toward or interest in pursuing the CFA designation Key Responsibilities: Conduct investment and fund research Execute trades and support portfolio rebalancing activities Maintain investment models and portfolio data Develop tools and process improvements using technology and automation Support advisor research requests and reporting needs Assist with special projects and ongoing investment team initiatives Location: Utica, NY (Onsite) Total Compensation: $80,000.00-$125,000.00 Equal Opportunity Employer: Strategic Financial Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
