About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Accounting Officer to lead the global accounting organization of a dynamic, multifaceted business. The successful candidate will be responsible for worldwide accounting, including the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, and will play a key role in the transformation of the accounting function as the company scales. This includes strengthening controls, re-architecting data flows, and building toward IPO/SOX readiness. The role demands a builder with a strong systems orientation, capable of driving automation and process improvements, and the ability to balance immediate execution with long-term strategic outcomes. The Chief Accounting Officer will also be a trusted advisor to the CFO and executive leadership team, partnering closely with various departments, and will be instrumental in establishing the systems, processes, and organizational foundations to support the company's future growth and public company aspirations. Candidates for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive accounting leadership experience, with a CPA and a background in Big Four public accounting. Experience in large, global, multi-entity accounting organizations, and a proven track record of scaling high-growth businesses, is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience with IPO readiness, public company environments, SOX, and large transformation efforts. A high sense of ownership, urgency, and exceptional communication skills are required, as is the ability to influence across all levels of the organization. The role is suited to individuals who are comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and who are energized by the prospect of building and maintaining high standards in a public company setting.
