Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement)

The selectee will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Recruitment and Placement) in the Office of Human Resources, APT Talent Management Division. Typical work assignments include:

• Performing operational human resources work in all facets of recruitment/placement as it relates to various hiring authorities and flexibilities, qualification requirements, pay setting, employment and placement requirements; developing recruitment strategies or other recruitment activities to identify and target mission critical administrative, professional, and technical positions
• Providing guidance on recruitment and placement activities in accordance with Office of Personnel Management, agency or internal policy and standard operation procedures.
• Conducting strategic planning meetings with internal stakeholders to developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies and providing applicable recommendations in mitigating issues impacting recruitment and placement.
• Developing appropriate documents to communicate operational guidance in accordance with published regulations, guidance, policies and agency directives.
